Tarja at The UC Theatre
This was my first ever time covering a venue with a real camera, a night I will never forget and always be thankful for. I had been listening to Tarja for years, from her time cofounding/being in Nightwish to her now Solo career. Her vocals and energy were so exciting to see live, something I thought I would never get to witness let alone take coverage of. When she sang I Walk Alone, Nemo, and Until My Last Breath it felt like flying through time back to when I first heard these melodies through my skull candy earbuds that did not do these songs justice! I very much recommend giving this OG metal queen a listen if you haven’t already.
